BIO | Mark Bost Music

Background

Mark Bost is a Producer/ Vocalist/ Drummer who has been playing live since 1982. As a writer since 1979, he has a number of projects in the past that need updating before showing & several now in the works that will be released in the near future.

Mark has played much of his career in the Carolina Beach music industry. Much of that with The Catalinas Band, where he cut his teeth on live entertainment. They mentored & trained him into the art of the Live Show & producer's ear way to approach the stage. With their Floor show (in the 80s & 90s), they crafted a show to interact with the audience & give tribute to famous artists everyone loves. Every show was a little different & set up to be able to flow & cut up with the crowd. He added to their floorshow with acts such as; Stevie Wonder & Michael Jackson (which utilized a magic trick).

Mark later played with The Johnny Barker Project/ Band of Gold/ Brad Bailey Trio/ Reach/ & many more as well as North Tower Band (9 years). From 1997 to 2003, he spent time in Nashville shopping his music (mostly Christian Music). After a number of years out of the music business, Mark has returned to writing, recording & live music; a new YouTube Channel with content videos, & trying to enjoy every moment of life (as reflected in his song “Leavin’ It”). Learning to love more, live life with more meaning & find the special moments in simple things. Peace, Love & the Rhythm of Life.

Mark is currently involved with a project called "This Is The 60s". A tribute to the time & music of the 60s with go-go dancers, a large video screen with a constant flow of 60s content, all the while changing into different clothes of the period.
